Who's in the house

Everyone in our home, by name.

Cameras

Our home has cameras so you can check in on your child throughout the day. They're in these areas:

  • Outdoors: front yard and backyard
  • Entry and common areas: entryway and hallways
  • Play and learning spaces: living and family room, playroom and classroom
  • Eating areas: kitchen, breakfast nook and formal dining area
  • On the go: our vehicle, so you can see your child on drives to field trips and outings

Every space where children play, learn, eat and travel is covered. Camera access is shared with enrolled families only. Please don't record, screenshot or share footage, out of respect for the other children in our care. To protect every child's privacy, there are no cameras in bathrooms or diaper-changing areas.

Parent visits
  • Open door. Parents and legal guardians are welcome to visit their child any time during our hours. No appointment needed. An open door builds trust, and we're glad to have you stop by.
  • Arriving for a visit. Please text or call us when you arrive and knock at the front door. For every child's safety the doors stay locked, so we'll let you in ourselves.
  • During your visit. Please follow our house rules, including shoes off and hands washed when you come in, and stay in the areas where children are playing. Out of respect for other families' privacy, please don't photograph or post images of other children.
  • Nap and meal times. You're always welcome, but visits during nap time (1:00–3:00 pm) can wake other children, so please come in quietly. If you visit during a meal, your child is welcome to keep eating with the group.
  • Saying goodbye. Some children have a harder time when a parent leaves midday. If that happens, we'll help with the transition, and a short, confident goodbye usually works best. If visits seem to make the day harder for your child, we'll talk it through with you.
  • Other visitors. Only parents, guardians and adults on your authorized list may visit or pick up your child. Anyone else must be approved by you in writing in advance and show photo ID.
  • Custody. If a court order limits a parent's access, please give us a copy so we can follow it. Without a court order, we can't keep a legal parent from their child.
Parking
For drop-off, pickup and tours, you're welcome to park in our driveway or on the street in front of our home. Please don't block our neighbors' driveways or mailboxes.
